Recreation Department

The Millinocket Recreation Department has teamed up with the East Millinocket Recreation Department to share services. This allows individuals in each community to participate in actives taking place in the other community. The Director of Recreation and Parks is Frank Clukey and Jody Nelson is Assistant Director. You can contact the Recreation Department by calling 746-3553. They are located at 53 Main Street in East Millinocket.

The Recreation Department is excited about the completion of the new public pool in Millinocket. The pool held its grand opening on July 2nd, 2007. More information is available, call us at 746-3553 for details about the new pool. Next to the new pool is "Pride Park" a recreational area for Millinocket youth. Pride Park is open from dawn to dusk for you and your childrens enjoyment.

Summer recreation programs are held in the athletic complex next to Stearns High School. Performing arts programs are held in the auditorium at Stearns High School. For more details, select an item from the "Items" list on the left. Contact the recreation department for information about programs that are taking place in East Millinocket or Medway.
