A message from the Town of Millinocket’s Clerk/Registrar’s Office:
The National Voter Registration ACT (NVRA) requires that states conduct periodic voter list maintenance activities to keep the voter rolls up to date. Per the requirements of the NVRA, The Elections Division sent out a mass mailing of Change of Address Confirmation Cards (CACCs) on January 16, 2026 to over 148,000 voters who had not voted in 2022 or 2024. If you received a card confirmation mailing, you had the opportunity to provide updated information to the Elections Division via a postage free reply card. All responses from voters received through March 6th have been updated. Any remaining voters who did not provide a response reply card to the NVRA mailing or whose reply card was returned by the USPS as undeliverable were made inactive by the Secretary of State’s Office Elections Division.”
With the June Primary and local elections fast approaching, the Town of Millinocket’s Clerk/Registrar’s Office recommends that you contact our office to check your voting status if you believe to have received a NVRA mailing and did NOT return it as prompted. Let’s be proactive while working together to have a smooth transition into the 2026 voting season.
