Non-Resident IF&W Lake & River Protection Stickers

To: All Non-Maine Residents seeking Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Lake & River Protection Stickers “Milfoil”

The State of Maine IF& Wildlife has changed their process in fulfilling requirements for Maine L&R Protection Stickers “Milfoil” for all non-Maine residents. These changes require the Clerk’s office to request that you follow the new guidelines provided by the State below to make your transition a smooth one; those requirements are as follows:

• If you do not currently have an IF & Wildlife account, you will need the following information/documentation to create a profile to process the NR Boat Registration:

Proof of ID/DL:  Current out of State Driver’s License, Picture ID, or Passport

Provide your Current Out of State Boat Registration:  This will ensure we have accurate boat and owner information; if unattainable, we require the following information:

Registration Number:  This would be the registration number you received when you registered your boat in your home state.

Boat Vin number, Make, Model Year, Registration State.
