Public Open House

You are cordially invited to attend a public open house at Maine Water’s Millinocket Drinking Water Treatment Facility.

Maine Water welcomes customers and community leaders to learn more about where their drinking water comes from and about the treatment process by our water professionals. The open house will also highlight our recently completed $3.8 million granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment project.*

*GAC is for minimizing the formation of Disinfection Byproducts. This additional treatment step is on-line and provides an extra layer of protection and helps ensure continued compliance with the Maine Drinking Water Program’s drinking water standards.
