Welcome to the Town of Millinocket and all that the area has to offer.

We offer 4 season recreational opportunities for the visitor wanting to explore the woods and waters in this area. We have a wide variety of businesses and professional guides who are ready to help you enjoy all activities.

We have kayaking, boating, hiking, biking, 4-wheeling (ATV) and off-road motorbiking, whitewater rafting, parachuting, scenic tours by foot, boat or air, moose and wildlife viewing tours, fishing and hunting guided tours during most of Spring, Summer and Fall. In addition, we have unique art and photography tours and activities in this area.

In the Winter months, we offer unprecedented snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing along with the aforementioned touring opportunities. The beautiful backdrop that is Mt. Katahdin and the Penobscot River and its chain of lakes provide the setting.
