2025 Dog Registration & Dog Park Reminders
2025 Dog Licenses are available as of October 15th!!
Your current 2024 License expires 12/31/2024!!
Fees: $6/dog altered (must have certificate)
or $11/dog unaltered
THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY $25 LATE FEE 2/1/2025.

How to license your dog: in person, drop box, mail, or by phone
To complete licensing: Provide the current rabies certificate & certificate of neuter/spay if applicable.
Drop Box is located in the side entrance of the municipal building – elevator lobby.
To license by mail or drop box: please make check payable to the Town of Millinocket and leave contact information for a Credit/Debit Card payment, a self-addressed stamped envelope with $.78 postage and current supporting documents required.
If you do not have your dog any longer, please call us at 723-7006
and we can remove them from our list.

Dog Park Rules
- The Dog Park is open from Dawn to Dusk.
- If your dog is stressed, or being aggressive, please remove the dog from the park immediately.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated, licensed with the Town and leashed when entering/exiting the Park.
- Owners must accompany their dogs inside the fenced area, always keep them in sight and clean up after their dogs, i.e., dispose of waste with a bag in the proper trash can and fill any holes your dog may dig.
- No more than two dogs per person at any time.
- No food, dog treats or glass containers inside the fenced areas.
- Infractions of any of these rules can result in temporary or permanent loss of Park privileges. All State statutes and Town Ordinances apply.
DOG OWNERS are financially responsible for medical treatment of injuries caused by their dog. You are legally responsible for your dog’s behavior, and you alone are responsible for your dog’s safety and well-being. You enter this park at your own risk.
The TOWN OF MILLINOCKET is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness, or any other liability that may occur while on the premises and the TOWN OF MILLINOCKET shall have no liability for the acts or omissions of individuals or their dogs that utilize this Dog Park. Use of the Dog Park is at your own risk.
