Important Notice: Temporary Elevator Outage at Municipal Building
Starting Monday, October 21st, our building’s elevator will undergo a 4-week (approximately) modernization process. This is a critical update, which will ensure more reliable operation into the future. Unfortunately, this means our accessible entrance will be closed during this time.
Alternative Arrangements for Accessibility
To ensure continued service, we’ve implemented the following:
- Call ahead: Please contact us in advance to make arrangements if you require accessible assistance.
- “Doorbell” system: A doorbell/buzzer will be installed outside, located on the side of the steps or middle railing. Pressing the buzzer will alert staff to come out and assist you.
- Keep in mind many services offered in-person at our facility are also offered online at www.millinocket.org
