The Treasurer is responsible for the distribution of all Town and School funds as well as all responsibilities related to accounting and internal auditing of the Municipal and School accounts. The Treasurer also works with the auditors to ensure the Town meets GAAP governmental accounting standards.

The Treasurer is also responsible for processing tax acquired properties for sale and works closely with the Town Manager who also serves as the Finance Director.
