* Due to grounds maintenance please do not walk near mowing equipment for your safety! Walking will be at your own risk, Window boxes, and artificial flowers etc., shall be removed by November 1st, Winter decorations will be allowed. No plants, trees, shrubs, or flowers shall be planted in the ground. Please read the rules file for more information, or call Public Works anytime for help with an issue. I have added an updated burial file that can be used to find a person and section maps to help you navigate around the grounds. There are green marker posts at each section with Letters to help you find a section. We have provided links below you can use to get more information with grave sites. Please call or email me with questions, comments, or concerns.
If you’re interested in purchasing a burial plot you can view what plots are available at the Cemetery during the open season during the summer. The plots are $200.00 each and can provide a full body burial with (2) two sets of ashes placed on top, or (4) sets of ashes in an open plot without a full body burial.
Please see Public Works for pre planning a cremation burial if you are not going through a Funeral Home. We will need a permit filled out by the family for burial authorization to open and close the grave site. If a full body burial is required, you need to call a Funeral Home for proper interment requirements.
The Town does not install stones. A monument company does that type of work.
Public Works will pull out shrubs that are not being taken care of. If you inquire about having them pulled out, we will at no charge remove them.
